-HAS BARREL HOOD FLUTES
Speed, performance, and reliability matter- the all-new BDS9 from Nighthawk Custom is built for it all.
The BDS9 (Boardroom Double Stack 9mm) is designed, and hand built for the alpha competitive shooter. The slide has a heavy tri-cut angle top and lightening ports, allowing the slide to cycle quicker for faster follow up shots. This model comes with our Interchangeable Optics System ( IOS ) factory installed, giving shooters the option of shooting iron sights or a red dot optic. Competition shooters now are able to run the same pistol in multiple divisions, being able to easily change from your iron sight plate to an optic while holding zero.
The BDS9 has all the features and options you need. The slide and frame have been coated in a silver DLC finish which looks great and is also very durable. The barrel and controls have been finished in black DLC for a sleek contrast. The billet aluminum grip has been anodized black to provide long-lasting strength. This grip also features our new aggressive texture providing a grip that is sure to stick to your hands no matter what the climate is. The aggressive grip texture ensures a stout grip and allows greater accuracy and assurance.
The BDS9 comes in a 9mm double stack configuration which offers a 17+1 capacity to the shooter. The 5" match grade bull barrel is chambered in 9mm exclusively. The barrel has been crowned and cut flush with the slide. The BDS9 has a full-length recon rail for added weight down low where you want it. A Heinie Black Ledge rear sight is paired with a red fiber optic front sight for optimal target acquisition in all lighting situations.
This competition double stack comes hand fit with two slide stops, both finished in black DLC. The first slide stop operates like any standard 1911 slide stop, locking the slide back on an empty magazine. The second slide stop is a disengaged slide stop for competition shooters who do not want the slide to lock back. This gives shooters the confidence knowing that any possible magazine over insertion or premature lock back is impossible while running the pistol fast in competition.
