The Ops-Core Sentry Ballistic Helmet offers the same level of protective head coverage as the U.S. Army ACH/ECH with improved interoperability between communication headsets, visors, and accessories for mandible protection. It also provides better hearing localization and attenuation than the ACH with a modified ear area shape, and is compatible with the Ops-Core RAC-1 headset and other in-ear communication devices. The shell is built using hybrid composite ballistic materials that weigh a 1/2 lb. less than the ACH while meeting all of the ballistic performance requirements of the U.S. Army’s CO/PD-05-04 2007 specification.
The Sentry utilizes the same type of fitband adjustment system as helmets in the Ops-Core FAST series, but has a lower-profile worm dial instead of a knob. The Worm-Dial adjustable fitband with replaceable front, nape, and side pads quickly detaches to allow convenient donning / doffing of COMMs headsets with headbands while being more compact than the Occ-Dial version used in the FAST helmet models. The ventilated multi-impact liner has repositionable EPP impact pads and LDV closed-cell comfort foam that is not affected by temperature, altitude, or moisture. This system gives the Sentry helmet 4x more stability than standard issue ACH helmet suspension / retention products. The internal suspension system is compatible with headband-style COMMs and headsets.
The sides of the helmet sport proprietary FAST-ARC 4-position Rail Connectors for securing accessories like lights. These brand new ARC’s act as the hub for an entire suite of modular accessories.
Ops-Core Skeleton Shroud included on the helmet: compatible with front mount visors, flashlights and other visual enhancement devices.
The Ops-Core Sentry Ballistic helmet is the perfect solution for users who want the functionality of the FAST Ballistic High Cut helmet, but need full coverage like an ACH/MICH.
